Regal Entertainment is set to show its supremacy of the Filipino horror genre on an even higher scale. Its latest project, “Untold,” is scheduled to make its debut on screens around the world starting on May 2, 2025.
“Untold” will be shown in the US, Canada, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), Singapore, and Hong Kong in theaters throughout the regions.
In the US, the film will be shown across the East and West Coasts, covering the states of California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, Nevada, Virginia, and Maryland. In Canada, “Untold” will be shown in the provinces of Alberta (Calgary and Edmonton), Manitoba (Winnipeg), British Columbia (Surrey and Vancouver), Ontario (Mississauga, Scarborough and Toronto), and Saskatchewan (Regina and Saskatoon).

Sta. Maria plays Vivian Vera, a journalist and social media star who is on a career high as the news anchor for her own investigative documentary series: “Untold.” Things go horribly wrong when she pursues a story and it leaves her traumatized. Soon, inexplicable occurrences start surrounding her and her news crew and plunges them deeper into a mystery that forces Vivian to face her own deep secrets if she wants answers.

Television journalist and social media darling VIVIAN VERA is at a high point of her career having landed a position as a news anchor and host of her own investigative documentary series: UNTOLD. However, her career’s speedy rise takes a sharp downward turn when one of her highly-anticipated live interviews turns into a fatal tragedy where someone is shot dead on air for the whole nation to see. While Vivian tries to play off the incident as just part of the job, she is unable to hide from the trauma it inflicted on her mind.
After the tragic interview, Vivian experiences terrible hauntings by victims of her past news stories – all of them seemingly seeking help from Vivian to achieve justice. At first, Vivian tries to ignore the hauntings, but when the inexplicable occurrences spread to her news crew she decides to investigate and get to the bottom of why they are being targeted.
Despite being afraid, Vivian looks back at her past news stories with the help of her news crew. They soon discover that justice might not be the motive of the spirits after all, but vengeance instead. And at the center of all the tragedies those spirits befell is Vivian who has deep, dark secrets she has long hoped to forget and move past from. Vivian soon realizes that if she wants any chance of stopping the hauntings, she must first face the truth of her past and accept the consequences of her actions.
