Mestiza features the national fruit in its all-natural premium soaps

Skin soap brand Mestiza has introduced the newest addition to its growing line of premium soaps during their "Mestizas in Bloomvinos" event in Makati City. The gathering brought together content creators, beauty enthusiasts, and wellness advocates to celebrate natural beauty, creativity, and empowerment—all while unveiling the brand’s newest star, the Mestiza Mango Variant.

Held at Bombvinos Bodega, the event was a vibrant showcase of Mestiza’s commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and 100% all-natural skincare. Attendees were treated to an exciting lineup of activities, from a creative painting session, live DJ music by DJ Tom, to engaging Q&A sessions with the stunning Miss Mestiza Caloocan 2025, Eljae Lanson, and Mestiza’s Director of Operations, Marty Salimbangon.

Aside from taking pride in their home province of Cebu, which is known for its delicious dried mangoes, Marty explained that the brand's new formulation is rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C, and essential nutrients—helping to brighten the skin, improve its elasticity, and keep it naturally glowing.

"Mango actually has as much Vitamin C as orange and it’s better for your skin and it’s less harsh. That’s why we included it in our new line for brightening. Because in Mestiza, we don’t believe in changing your skin color or changing who you are. We believe in embracing yourself, your skin color, and just being the best version of yourself - the glowest, the brightest, and the most beautiful version of yourself," she said.

“Mestiza only uses all-natural locally sourced ingredients. We get all our ingredients from local farmers. We also do not use any harsh additives, dyes, or anything that would bleach your skin or hurt you. It’s all about all-natural products that you can even eat,” she jokingly added when asked how healthy their products were.

Miss Mestiza Caloocan 2025, Eljae Lanson, also shared her excitement about the product, highlighting its gentle yet nourishing effects on her skin. "As someone who constantly wears makeup and faces environmental stressors, it’s important for me to use skincare that deeply cleanses without stripping my skin’s natural moisture. Mestiza has truly made a difference!" she shared.

On people's perception about their brand name, Marty made clear that Mestiza doesn't just means having a spanish blood. It actually refers to a mixed heritage and embraces a rich tapestry of traditions, languages, and histories that contribute to a unique identity. Mestiza culture celebrates this blend, highlighting the beauty and strength found in diversity. "We believe in inclusivity so ‘mestiza’ is someone who can be any race, color, gender, height, or whatever."

She also said that for now, the company is focused on partnering with content creators to talk about their product rather than getting a celebrity endorser as they often have a more personal connection with their audience, which can lead to higher engagement and trust. "We are looking into it. However, I think our focus now kasi is building our Mestiza community, our [content] creators, because to us you guys are celebrities. We love the organic content that you guys made to elevate our brand by simply being yourselves.”

Mestiza’s range of all-natural soaps, including the newly launched Mango Variant, is available at Mercury Drug, Watsons, Southstar Drug, Metro Supermarket, and all leading drugstores and supermarkets nationwide.
