Kahapon, February 14 o saktong araw ng mga Puso inanunsyo ng Star Creatives through their social media accounts na sila ang hahawak sa unang teleserye ng DonBelle loveteam na may working title na "Can't Buy Me Love".
Kilala ang Star Creatives, isa sa entertainment department ng ABS-CBN Corporation sa mga pag-gawa ng de-kalidad at dekalibreng romantic-comedy seryes tulad ng Princess and I, Got to Believe, Forevermore, Dolce Amore, Make It With You at iba pa.
Present sa isang zoom meeting sina ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Head of TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, Star Creatives head Mico del Rosario, Donny Pangilinan at ang kanyang ama na si Anthony Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, film and TV director/screenplay writer Henry King Quitain at ibang tao na involved sa magiging production ng serye.
Eto rin ang comeback project ng DonBelle, matapos ang successful run ng He's Into Her Seasons 1 and 2, ang 2021 highest-grossing Filipino Film na "Love Is Color Blind" at ang box office hit movie na "An Inconvenient Love" noong 2022 na tumabo ng humigit kumulang ₱40 million sa takilya.
Ayon sa ilang artikulo, ididirek ng tanyag na screenplay writer na si Henry King Quitain ang teleserye.
Siya rin ang direktor ng ilang hit Kapamilya seryes tulad ng Princess and I (2012) na lalong nagpa-ingay sa loveteam nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla (KathNiel).
Inaasahang ngayong 2023 mapapanood ang unang serye ng DonBelle sa primetime block ng Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z Channel 11 at TV5.
