“AN IVORY CHRISTMAS” PLAYLIST NOW FEATURES TWO NEWEST CHRISTMAS CLASSIC RENDITIONS: “THE FIRST NOEL” BY NONOY PEÑA AND “O, HOLY NIGHT” BY STEREOTYPE
“An Ivory Christmas” playlist is now available on Spotify featuring two of Ivory Music & Video’s newest Christmas releases: “The First Noel” by Nonoy Peña and “O, Holy Night” by Stereotype.
“An Ivory Christmas” playlist is a collection of Christmas songs by MYMP, Jennylyn Mercado, The Company, Orient Pearl, Garth Garcia, and Geca Morales.
One addition to this is a full acapella rendition of the Christmas classic song “The First Noel” by Bicol’s YouTube sensation, Nonoy Peña, who has now over 600,000 YouTube subscribers and a well-established, active fanbase.
YouTube sensation Nonoy Pena releases another cover and this time it’s for the yuletide season. Adding another Christmas song to his growing library of Christmas covers, such as “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, “Sana Ngayong Pasko”, and “O, Holy Night”, this time, Nonoy flexes his vocal prowess by releasing a full acapella version of The First Noel with all the backup vocals done by himself.
Another addition to the Christmas playlist is the solemn and soothing rendition of “O, Holy Night” by the Cebu-based musical gem band Stereotype.
Stereotype is a band from Danao City, Cebu consisting of Francis Greg Dagatan, Levi Lao, Noah Lao, and Ren Ella Talisic. Formed in 2014, the band is now a staple and well-loved performer in bars and restaurants in Cebu. A testament to the warm reception of their supporters, the band’s YouTube channel reached 100,000 subscribers a few months after it was first published. Their cover of Matchbox Twenty’s “Unwell” has over 2.8M views and counting. Stereotype shares that their musical inspirations span from OPM artists Moira, Rivermaya, Bamboo, and Ben&Ben to international artists Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Justin Beiber, The Script, and Matchbox 20.
Stereotype is no stranger to christmas songs as seen from their covers of Santa Baby and Mistletoe. This time they will give us a more solemn holiday track with their acoustic rendition of the classic, O, Holy Night.
